The personal vaporizers use liquid nicotine diluted with either propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin. They can also include various additives for flavor. For reviews of different liquid flavors, amount of vapor and the throat hit see Half Vaped

[edit] Cutting eliquid

Sometimes eliquid is purchased in higher strengths of nicotine for the purpose of cutting down to lower strengths to get more for the price. The juice is mixed with either propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin (and optionally flavoring/alcohol/water) to get the desired strength measured in mg/ml.

This ejuice calculator can help you dilute your current juice correctly. If you need a more advanced calculator, you can also try this e-Liquid Calculator (also from your smartphone).
